Canada Water is a Witness
to London’s Heritage
as a Centre for World Trade

It stands on the site of Rotherhithe and the old Surrey Commercial Docks.

In 1620 the Pilgrim Fathers set sail from Rotherhithe aboard the Mayflower.  Today, Canada Water looks out across the River Thames to the centre of global finance at Canary Wharf.

Just one stop on the Jubilee Line from Canary Wharf and two from London Bridge, Canada Water has great transport links to Docklands, the City and the West End.

It is a very peaceful area to live, with its tranquil docks and canals, and the unusual enclave of Russia Dock woodland in the centre. The historic charm of Greenwich is also close by.
